The AI made a picture. I'll make it a logo.

Midjourney, ChatGPT, DALL·E and the rest give you a PNG that looks great on screen. Then the printer asks for a vector, and the problems start showing.

What AI logos get wrong, and what I fix

Generated logos share a set of predictable faults: lettering that is almost a real word, shapes that are nearly symmetrical, gradients and soft edges that can't be printed flat, and detail that dissolves the moment you scale it down. Auto-tracing locks all of that in permanently. I rebuild the mark from scratch — keeping the idea you liked, correcting the geometry, and setting real type instead of the AI's imitation of letters

Best for: founders who generated a logo they like, agencies handed an AI concept to productionise, and anyone whose printer has rejected an AI PNG.

What's included:

AI-developed concept, then vector artwork

Three recent jobs. Swap in real pairs from your AI-to-vector category.

How the job runs

The extra step here is the honest conversation about what the AI actually gave you.

Send the Image

The PNG or JPG the AI produced. The prompt you used helps too, if you still have it.

Free Review

I tell you which parts are workable and which need redesigning rather than rebuilding.

Manual Rebuild

Shapes redrawn, type set properly, colours flattened for production.

Delivery

A real vector file set, plus the correctly spelled wordmark.

What you receive, every time

Everything you need to actually use the logo you generated.

Questions I get asked

Anything not covered here, just ask. I reply within one working day.

The text in my AI logo is misspelled. Can you fix it?

Yes, and it’s the most common request on this service. AI models draw letter-shapes rather than type, so words come out almost right. I set the wordmark in a real typeface chosen to match the look you wanted, which also means it stays editable later.

You can, but it bakes the faults in. Tracing a soft gradient produces dozens of stacked shapes, and tracing imperfect letters preserves the imperfections forever. Once traced, fixing it is harder than rebuilding from the original image.

Rules differ by country and are still settling, so I’d check with a lawyer for anything you plan to trademark. What I can tell you is that a hand-rebuilt file is your own original artwork, which puts you in a considerably stronger position than a raw AI output.

What if the concept doesn't work as a logo at all?

Sometimes that’s the answer, usually when the image is too detailed to survive being shrunk to an app icon. I’ll say so during the free review rather than take the job, and I can quote a redesign instead if you want one.

Other things I do

Not quite what you need? One of these may fit better.

Send me the file. I'll tell you what it needs.

Free review, no obligation. If it's not something I can help with, I'll say so straight away.
